Life is full of meaningful moments. Celebrating milestones helps bring an awareness of God’s presence into the home and the highlights the rituals of daily life experiences.

Welcoming Young Children to Worship is about a congregation intentionally inviting children, their parents, and other caregivers to worship by saying, “You and your child are welcome here. Your child is a full member of the faith community.”

This milestone includes the Four Keys for faith practices to encourage the connection between home and congregation. A simple five-step structure is also included to intentionally invite the faith community to recognize the milestone and celebrate it together to establish a solid base for community outreach.
