a safe place for them. Parents need to learn that Sunday school is a ministry
that partners with the home to pass on faith, values and character formation.
Partnering home and congregation is emphasized in this milestone.
This milestone includes the Four Keys for
faith practices to encourage the connection between home and congregation. A
simple five-step structure is also included to intentionally invite the faith
community to recognize the milestone and celebrate it together to establish a
solid base for community outreach.
