Celebrating milestones helps bring an awareness of God’s presence into the home
and the highlights the rituals of daily life experiences.
Welcoming Young Children to Worship is about
a congregation intentionally inviting children, their parents, and other
caregivers to worship by saying, “You and your child are welcome here. Your
child is a full member of the faith community.â€
This milestone includes the Four Keys for
faith practices to encourage the connection between home and congregation. A
simple five-step structure is also included to intentionally invite the faith
community to recognize the milestone and celebrate it together to establish a
solid base for community outreach.
