Independence Day is held in the United States on the 4^th of July each year. This Fourth of July Milestone Moment provides an opportunity for family and friends to gather to celebrate the birthday of the United States. It provides a special time for family and friends to be thankful for the freedom we have been given in this country and for our freedom to worship as we choose.

This Milestone Moment consists of two pages that are reproducible in your local setting. It can be sent in emails or printed.

· Page 2 provides a conversation guide* that includes talking and listening to one another, reading a verse/s from the Bible, and a prayer and blessing. It includes a food for thought question on how one might show love for one’s neighbor through an act of service.
